The University of Vienna is the institution commissioning the data processing, i.e. the party responsible for data processing in accordance with the Data Protection Ordinance. In accordance with the information duties applicable to the party responsible, we ask you to take note of the following information:
This data processing is carried out for the following purposes: research, information and invitation to children's studies.

The University of Vienna processes the following categories of personal data in the course of this data collection:
- First and surname of legal guardian/child
- Date of birth child
- Information on pregnancy and childbirth
- Place of residence
- E-Mail adress
- Telephone number
The legal basis for the processing is the consent of the participant.
The data collected about you will not be forwarded to persons outside of the University of Vienna.
The data will not be transferred to a third country (EU or EEA) or to an international organisation.
The data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of the processing has been achieved and unless there is another legal retention period.
As a data subject of data processing, you have the right against the University of Vienna to
- Information,
- Correction,
- Extinction,
- Restriction,
- Data transferability and
- Termination of further processing if the legal basis for processing is a predominantly legitimate interest of the ordering party or the data is processed for scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes.
In addition, you have the option of withdrawing your consent to data processing at any time without stating reasons. Finally, you have the opportunity to complain to the Austrian data protection authority (www.dsb.gv.at) about what you consider to be inadmissible data processing.
